Sung Wook Chung, Ph.D. – President (대표)
Sung Wook Chung, D.Phil. (Systematic Theology – Oxford University, Oxford, UK) serves as Professor of Christian Theology and Director of Korean Initiatives at Denver Seminary in Littleton, CO and teaches on systematic theology and Christian doctrines in various settings around the world. He has published numerous articles and books, both in English and Korean. He has authored Admiration and Challenge: Karl Barth’s Theological Relationship with John Calvin, and edited Alister McGrath and Evangelical Theology: A Dynamic Engagement, Christ the One and Only: A Global Affirmation of the Uniqueness of Jesus Christ, Karl Barth and Evangelical Theology: Convergences and Divergences, A Case for Historic Premillennialism: An Alternative to “Left Behind” Eschatology (co-editor), John Calvin and Evangelical Theology: Legacy and Prospect, Jürgen Moltmann and Evangelical Theology: A Critical Engagement, Creative and Diverse Voices: Essays in the Majority World Theology (co-editor) and Christian Theology in Korea: An Introduction (forthcoming). Dr. Chung has also contributed to Evangelical Theological Method: Five Views (forthcoming), Vital Faith Bible, Dictionary of Everyday Theology and Culture, The Encyclopedia of Christian Civilization, Oxford Handbook of Evangelical Theology, and Global Dictionary of Theology. He also authored in Korean Systematic Theology Made Easy (translated into Indonesian), Christian Apologetics Made Easy, The Cross Theology and Spirituality, The Key Words of the Reformation, Trinitarian Theology and Spirituality, A Theological Dialogue with John Calvin, Apostles’ Creed for Group Study Bible, and Three Doctors’ Dialogue on Theology, Science, and Literature. He also translated the works of Paul Tillich’s The Theology of Peace,Jonathan Edwards’ Religious Affections and Concert of Prayer, Michael John Cusick’s Surfing for God (co-translator), John Jefferson Davis’ Meditation and Communion with God (co-translator) and Alister E. McGrath’s Evangelicalism and the Future of Christianity into Korean. He is a frequent conference and seminar speaker.
Gary G. Hoag, Ph.D. – Secretary / Vice President (부대표/서기)
Gary G. Hoag, Ph.D. (New Testament – Trinity College, Bristol, UK) has dedicated his life to encouraging Christian generosity as the Generosity Monk. He posts daily meditations and offers counsel for nurturing generosity in local church settings and among ministry constituencies. He formerly served as vice president of advancement at Denver Seminary and Colorado Christian University. Periodically, he lectures and teaches on biblical stewardship in academic settings around the world as a visiting professor for Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Torch Trinity Graduate University, and Northern Seminary. He also helps foster the faithful administration of God’s work globally as the ECFA International Liaison and as an ECFA Press Author. He served as a content reviewer for the NIV Stewardship Study Bible, and has authored chapters in other books as well as contributing a variety of articles. In addition to his voluntarily service on numerous boards, he regularly writes for the Christian Leadership Alliance blog and edits the ECFA Global Network Update quarterly.
Craig L. Blomberg, Ph.D – Board Member (회원)
Dr. Craig Blomberg joined the faculty of Denver Seminary in 1986 and currently serves as distinguished professor of New Testament. Dr. Blomberg completed his PhD in New Testament, specializing in the parables and the writings of Luke-Acts, at Aberdeen University in Scotland. He received an MA from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and a BA from Augustana College. Before joining the faculty of Denver Seminary, he taught at Palm Beach Atlantic College and was a research fellow in Cambridge, England with Tyndale House. He teaches around the world and has ministered in South Korea on numerous occasions. He joined the board of Kurios International in 2017.
In addition to writing numerous articles in professional journals, multi-author works and dictionaries or encyclopedias, he has authored or edited 20 books, including The Historical Reliability of the Gospels, Interpreting the Parables, commentaries on Matthew, 1 Corinthians and James, Jesus and the Gospels: An Introduction and Survey, From Pentecost to Patmos: An Introduction to Acts through Revelation, Christians in an Age of Wealth: A Biblical Theology of Stewardship, Neither Poverty nor Riches: A Biblical Theology of Possessions, Making Sense of the New Testament: Three Crucial Questions, Preaching the Parables, Contagious Holiness: Jesus’ Meals with Sinners, and Handbook of New Testament Exegesis.
